We made it!....and nobody got hurt. Although if I had let T.C. out of his cage I think Bubba and I would have been goners. It is safe to say that for future car rides it is really best for all, if T.C. is medicated....or if I am medicated.....one or the other. He actually did alright and he wasn't singing the entire ride. However, I did have to keep petting him through the bars of his cat carrier to keep him calm. When I foolishly had to use both hands to drive during the rain storm through Cincinnati I witnessed some kitty rage I had never seen in all his 15 years. Bubba might not be the only pet I have that requires a helmet!
But seven and half hours later we are safe and sound. The house is still standing, there are no floods in the basement, I have a new fence and I didn't leave anything in the fridge that grew fur! All good.
Bubba happy in his chair.
He is like an old lady sitting on her perch spying on the neighbours.
So happy to be inside and away from people.
I'm handsome.
What T.C.'s doing?
Flowers that were waiting for us when we got home. T.C. doing a thorough inspection to see if they are edible.
I think I can speak for us all when I say we are happy to be home, and will most likely be going to bed soon....very soon
