For my birthday I was treated to Keith Urban's concert in London. It was an awesome gift from Nancy Yeadon! We met at the hotel, had a fantastic dinner at an Italian restaurant a couple of doors down from the hotel and then off to the concert. All I have to say is WOW! I am not sure what I expected from a Keith Urban concert, but that was better than I could have imagined. He is really pretty.....AND he can really sing....AND he can really play the guitar! The concert started at 7:30. The band Perry was the opening act. They played for 1/2 an hour and were really good. Then there was a wee intermission while they got the stage ready for Keith. He played continuously for over 2 hours! And then he came back out for an encore!!. He really interacts with the audience too. He brings them on stage, goes out into the audience to play and then at the end he gave a lucky girl one of his guitars!! The poor guy needs a few bodyguards when he goes out into the audience because he keeps getting jumped...and he is not a really big guy. At the end he thanked the audience for choosing his concert to attend over others in this time where the economy is tough and spending money on tickets is a big deal. We thought it was nice that he acknowledged that. I have a few pictures below to share of the concert.....you can vaguely make Keith out!

I am not a huge country fan, but I would see him again and highly recommend anyone go see him. You won't be disappointed.
